I was the lead copywriter for the launch of Kasparovchess, the new chess platform and community from Garry Kasparov. Kasparovchess is all about the pleasure of the game, and I devised a tone of voice that would reflect this for an international audience. This included a way of talking about the app’s premium subscription that combined the passion chess players have for their game, with an inclusivity that encourages both learning and enjoyment. Unfortunately my own chess rating is so bad that nobody will play me. You win some, you lose some - or in my case, almost all of them.
